wildcard_unichar_id_, apostrophe_unichar_id_, question_unichar_id_ and
slash_unichar_id_ were not initialized in the constructor.
slash_unichar_id_ was used later in a conditional.

On most systems float is the IEEE 754 single-precision binary
floating-point format (32 bits). Tesseract does not support other systems.
