How To Share Files With Mongoose

1. Download Mongoose executable from http://cesanta.com/mongoose.shtml and copy the executable inside the directory you want to share:

2. Double-click mongoose executable. An icon will appear on a system tray in the bottom right corner of the desktop:

3. Click on the mongoose icon and choose "Start browser" menu:

4. A browser will popup displaying files. That's all! To access those files from another computer, start a browser and type http://<your_machine_ip_address>:8080/ in the address bar.

Tip: to find out what is your machine IP address, take a look at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/find-computers-ip-address
